SPINE – Inteligentné iniciatívy vo verejnej doprave pre klimaticky neutrálne európske mestá

Projekt SPINE je jedným z najväčších projektov Európskej komisie. Projekt je financovaný v rámci rámcového grantového programu Horizont Európa pre klímu, energetiku a mobilitu. Na projekte sa podieľa konzorcium 39 partnerov zo 16 krajín. Celková suma grantu pre celé konzorcium je 14,6 mil. EUR. Rozpočet projektu vyčlenený pre mesto Žilina je vo výške 295.000 EUR a tento je plne hradený z prostriedkov EÚ, teda s nulovým spolufinancovaním zo strany mesta Žilina.

Cieľom projektu je podporiť využívanie verejnej dopravy a zvýšiť jej zastúpenie v rámci motorizovanej dopravy v mestách až o 30%. Projekt sa zameriava aj na podporu mikro-mobility (chôdza, bicykel, kolobežka ai.)

Úlohou mesta Žilina bude v rámci projektu započať prípravné opatrenia na zriadenie nízko-emisnej zóny, spustiť inteligentný manažment parkovania, vylepšiť existujúcu mestskú SMART city platformu pre občanov – doplniť nové funkcionality umožňujúce sledovať v reálnom čase, aké sú možnosti parkovania v meste, zobrazujúce aktuálne varovania z dôvodu dopravných obmedzení a prípadných nebezpečenstiev. V rámci projektu sa tiež zlepší užívateľská prívetivosť existujúcej dopravnej aplikácie na plánovanie ciest autobusmi. Zároveň plánujeme vytvoriť v Žiline multimodálne prestupné stredisko integrujúce rôzne druhy dopravy s možnosťou nákupu lístkov.

Vďaka projektu SPINE budú vytvorené:

(a) inovatívne simulačné prostriedky a digitáne dvojčatá, spolu s otvorenými dátami a modelmi správania, ktoré umožnia rozvoj scenárov kombináciou rôznych typov intervencií,

(b) dátovo orientované modely posudzovania, ktoré posilnia prenositeľnosť a adaptáciu úspešných riešení zo 4 vedúcich miest (tzv. živých laboratórií), ktorými sú Antverpy, Boloňa, Talin a Las Palmas, do 7 partnerských miest – Barreiro, Valladolid, Žilina, Šibenik, Heraklion, Gdynia a Rouen.

SPINE – SMART PUBLIC TRANSPORT INITIATIVES FOR CLIMATE-NEUTRAL CITIES IN EUROPE

SPINE Project is one of the European Commissions’ largest scale Missions projects. The Project is funded under the Horizon Europe Climate, Energy and Mobility Program and has been granted with 14.6 million euro. Coordinator INLECOM will orchestrate the 39-patner consortium from 16 countries who will be working together. The amount of the budget for City of Zilina is 295 000 euro.

SPINE is expected to achieve an increase of Public Transport in the modal distribution of motorized transportation by 30% in the Living Lab cities within the course of the project compared to the baseline at the start of the project.

The project task for the city of Žilina will be to initiate preparatory measures for the introduction of a low emission zone, launch intelligent parking management, improve the existing municipal SMART city platform for citizens with new functionalities that allow following in real time what parking options are available in the city, add features displaying current warnings due to traffic restrictions and potential hazards. The project will also improve the user-friendliness of the existing bus travel planning application. Furthermore, we are planning to create a Multimodal Hub in Žilina integrating different transport modes and ticketing.

The SPINE approach involves the creation of

(a) innovative simulation and Digital Twining (DT) tools, along with open data and behavioural models, that will allow the building of scenarios combining different mobility interventions (push and pull measures along with supporting policies) and the implementation of the most promising ones;

(b) data-driven impact assessment models that will foster the twinning, transferability and adaptation of the successful solutions of the four LLs in seven Twining Cities – Barreiro, Valladolid, Zilina, Sibenik, Heraklion, Gdynia and Rouen-. SPIRE sets a high ambitious plan for the co-design and implementation of 55 smart greens inclusive mobility solutions. The SPINE consortium brings together a multidisciplinary team of 39 partners from 16 countries. The unique mix of experienced transport engineers, Public transport Operators, computer scientists, data analysts, transport modelers, social scientists, urban planners, policy analysts, software providers, within our consortium assures the comprehensive approach to the challenges, scope, expected impact and the successful delivery of the project.
